The Village Rock Shop was started in 1962 at 3312 Main Street, P.O. Box 500 nearly in the center of Morgantown. The shop is museum-like with minerals and fossils from all over the world.

There are minerals and fossils for nearly every age from the young collector with rocks as low as 5¢ to more costly minerals and fossils for the avid advanced collector. There are decorator rocks for unique accents in modern homes and gardens as well as traditional settings. Many items in the store are attractive and make perfect gifts.

Gallery hours are irregular. It is a good idea to make an appointment before coming.
